Thanks everyone for listening!  The response to our first episode has been tremendous, and we’re excited to ramp things up and start putting out more episodes.

Episode 1.5 is a “mini-episode” (hence the “.5”), a quick take that was done sort of spur of the moment and is shorter and looser than one of our more “traditional” shows.  In this installment, we delve into the variety of names Filipinos give to their children.  Whether it be “combo” names, nicknames, pre-Hispanic names, Spanish Christian names, or names based on American pop-culture, Filipinos have a unique tradition of naming people, which at times doesn’t translate so well in the American context.
